- 30ml cognac
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- 10ml simple syrup
- 90ml brut champagne
- lemon twist
Method
Shake cognac, lemon juice, and simple syrup with ice. Strain into a champagne flute. Top with chilled champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist. The original French 75 was made with cognac, not gin.
