Caipirinha
Brazil's national cocktail and the country's most exported drink culture. Cachaça is distinct from rum — it's made from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses, giving it a grassy, funky character.
Ingredients
- 50ml cachaça
- 1 lime (cut into wedges)
- 2 tsp white sugar
Method
Muddle lime wedges and sugar in a rocks glass. Fill with crushed ice. Add cachaça and stir well.
