Tequila Sunrise
One of the most visually striking cocktails ever created. The grenadine sinking through the orange juice creates a gradient that mimics a sunrise. Made famous by the Rolling Stones on their 1972 tour,
Ingredients
- 50ml blanco tequila
- 100ml fresh orange juice
- 15ml grenadine
Method
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour tequila and orange juice, stir. Slowly pour grenadine down the side — it will sink to the bottom creating the sunrise gradient. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
